On 18th November 2022, a workshop with the stakeholders of Keonjhar demo site was organised. National Scientific advisor committee members, demo site leader, research scholars, field assistants and 50 villagers, including the Sarpanch (elected local decision-maker) of the village, participated. The workshop was also attended by major government officers related to the Energy Department of Odisha.
A detailed discussion took place on the implementation of the 50 kWp microgrid and also the co-operative Society of Keonjhar demo site called “Ranipada Grama Shakti Samuha”, which has been formed recently. The committee consisted of the President, the Vice President and 34 committee members. This society has been formed to run the microgrid system smoothly. The members of the society will be trained to handle the minor maintenance of the microgrid and day to day activities.
