One more year, RE-EMPOWERED project, represented by its partner Deloitte, attended the GENERA fair.
GENERA 2024 is an international energy fair, the most important fair about renewable energies, energy efficiency and energy storage celebrated in Spain. This event, celebrated yearly, brings together professionals of consultancy, engineering, construction, commerce; Industrial Energy Users; Equipment Manufacturers and Distributors; Installers and Maintenance Companies; Energy Project Developers; Universities and Research Centers; Prescribers and Real Estate Developers, Public Administrations and, in general, all professionals who work in the energy efficiency and renewable energy fields.
In 2024, GENERA 2024 took place during the days February 6th to February 8th. It is organized by the Instituto para la Diversificación y Ahorro de la Energía (IDAE) and IFEMA MADRID FAIR CENTER (Feria de Madrid).
The Instituto para la Diversificación y Ahorro de la Energía (IDAE) is a public entity which supports the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge to achieve the Spanish objectives of improvement of the energy efficiency, renewable energies and other low-carbon technologies.
GENERA 2024 was celebrated in IFEMA (Feria de Madrid) venue, Avda. Del Partenón, 5, 28042, Madrid. In the edition of 2024, there were 402 expositors, in 24,000 m2 of exhibition space (33% more than in 2023). 208 companies from 23 countries have participated in the event. International companies made 41% of the total participation in Genera, specially from Germany, China, and Turkey. Besides, companies from Austria, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, the USA, Spain, France, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Singapore, Sweden, and Switzerland participated in GENERA 2024.
In 2024, GENERA reached a record participation, continuing with its uninterrupted growth since 2018.
GENERA 2024 fair was mainly focused on self-consumption based on solar PV, and energy storage with batteries.
