For third consecutive year, RE-EMPOWERED project was disseminated at the session Emerging Technologies for Future of the Indian Smart Utility Week held from 12 to 16 March in New Delhi. The session, chaired by Soonee Sushil Kumar Former CEO, Grid Controller of India and moderated by Dr. Pradyot Koley from DST was joined by speakers from the industry and academia (IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Kanpur, Malaviya National Institute of Technology) and research.
A brief overview of the RE-EMPOWERED project was presented by Dr. Srinivas Bhaskar Karanki from IIT-Bhubaneswar, highlighting the unique features of the pilot sites selected both in India and EU. The developed ecotools were introduced to the participants and their implementation in demosite were briefed.
RE-EMPOWERED poster was put on display in the booth set up by the Delegation of the EU to India.
