On 17th of September, RE-EMPOWERED was presented during IEEE Western European Students and Young Professional congress that took place at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland. Attendees have been informed about the technologies that are currently being developed in the framework of RE-EMPOWERED and the four pilot sites in Europe and India in which these technologies will be implemented.
The presentation was followed by a productive discussion panel in which topics such as electromobility, recycling, battery energy storage systems, renewable energy production and the role of citizens to the fight against climate change have been discussed.
The conference attracted more than 80 students and young professionals from Switzerland, France, Germany, UK& Ireland, Portugal, Greece.
