RE-EMPOWERED participated in Athens Science Festival, a festival devoted to Science and Innovation since 2014, an established cultural landmark in the field of Science, Technology, Innovation and Art in Greece!
During the festival, attendees were informed about the novel technologies that aim at the development of smarter microgrids for wider uptake of renewable energy and increased energy efficiency. More specifically, the electrification of more than 1000 houses in an island of India (Ghoramara) was highlighted along with the upgrade of the power installation in Keonhjar isolated rural village in India which has significantly improved the living conditions of the locals.
