From 2nd to 5th July, RE-EMPOWERED project was promoted at the 37th International Conference on Efficiency, Cost, Optimization, Simulation and Environmental Impact of Energy Systems, (ECOS), held in Rhodes island. The conference was attended by about 440 people coming mainly from academia and some from private sector, from various countries from Europe, Middle East, Asia and America. RE-EMPOWERED poster was placed at the EU project area, while about 20 flyers were distributed to people visiting the corner. DAFNI discussed with the ECOs participants including industry representatives (from gas transmission operator, heating and cooling equipment supplier) about the project’s progress including the deployment and demonstration of the 10 ecoTools in the 4 demosites in Europe and India. Additionally, DAFNI invited them to follow the project on social media to receive more information regarding final event, which will take place in Athens, in parallel with MedPower conference. Finally, on Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th July, the two RE-EMPOWERED videos, on Indian demosites and Wind turbine installation in Kythnos were projected in front of an audience of about 50 and 120 people respectively, before the conference sessions and main keynote industry presentations.
