RE-EMPOWERED has been presented by the European coordinator Niko Hatziargyriou during the 17th annual Symposium on Microgrids which was held in Belgium from 19-20 September 2023 at EnergyVille, Thor Park 8310 3600 Genk.
The four demo sites in Bornholm, Kythnos, Keonjhar, Ghoramara have been presented along with the tools that have been developed in the framework of the project and will be implemented in these pilot sites. The purpose of the symposium was to provide a venue to exchange information on the current state of research, testing and deployment of microgrids, and to identify key technical, economic, and policy issues that should be addressed by future work.
